Questions
Do I need an account?
No. Plant information, the seasonal calendar and saving all work without an account. An optional account only syncs your records between devices.
Can I use it without internet?
Yes. From the person icon at the top, go to My list → Settings → Offline use to download all species and photos to your phone.
Where does the information come from?
From official and international sources such as the European Resuscitation Council, AFAD, the USDA nutrient database and the European Medicines Agency. Sources are listed under each topic, and photos come from Wikimedia Commons and iNaturalist.
Is it medical advice?
No. Heyben gives general information and does not replace first aid training or emergency services. In an emergency call 112 first. Never eat a wild plant or mushroom unless you are completely sure what it is.
